Description:

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

  • Degree from an accredited college or university
  • Applicant must be Highly Qualified and Endorsed for this position with a Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with a major in Special Education
  • Qualified candidates should skillfully demonstrate the following:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver lesson plans and instructional materials that facilitate learning
  • Develop schemes of work, lesson plans and tests that are in accordance with the district provided curriculum. Instruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials and equipment
  • Use relevant technology to support and differentiate instruction
  • Update all necessary records accurately and completely as required by laws, district policies and school regulations
  • Communicate necessary information regularly to students, colleagues and parents regarding student progress and student needs
  • Observe and evaluate students performance and development
  • Regular and reliable attendance is and essential job duty
  • Reports to: Elise Sorensen, Director of Adult, Alternative and Special Education

    Starting Date: ASAP (24/25 School Year)
