Mission

DSP Research Engineer

Paris, France (Onsite)

IC Resources is seeking a DSP Research Engineer to join an established research lab in Paris, France. Do you have a PhD in DSP algorithms research, prototyping and design, for optical communication systems? If so, this could be for you; an excellent opportunity to work in industry on full-cycle development, from research through to implementation of DSP algorithms for optical high capacity WDM fiber systems.

Essential experience

PhD in a relevant discipline, and a track record of publications in leading optical & signal processing related journals (JLT, PTL, Opt. Express…) and conferences (OFC, ECOC).
4+ years industry experience or post-doc research in the field of DSP algorithms research, prototyping and design, for optical communication systems
Modulation, equalisation, synchronisation, FEC (forward error correction)
Fluency in English
